The wine cellar at Chateau des Vigiers is an extension of the gourmet restaurant “Les Fresques”. All the wines you tasted at the table of the Michelin star restaurant can be purchased here.

When staying at Chateau des Vigiers, between rounds of golf and total relaxation, it is not always easy to find the time to visit the beautiful wine estates that surround us. That is why we opened the wine cellar where you will hear the wonderful stories of the men and women whose passion lies in making wine and help keep our little part of the world at the pinnacle of quality wine production – all without having to leave Vigiers.
Each wine has its own history and we will show you the art of tasting and we hope to spark your curiosity for all the different wines a little further.

The art of tasting: For a sommelier, a perfect tasting could be divided into two stages:
The first tasting, a bit technical, late morning, when all the senses are untainted, and taste perceptions more acute. The wine is judged alone on its own intrinsic merits …
The second tasting, various wines are paired with local produce each symbiotically interacting with each other.
