Maria Galland Beauty Centre

Access for hotel residents to: sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, fitness rooms and outside heated pools (May to September). Beauty treatments and massages at the Maria Galland Beauty Centre can be arranged by appointment only (3 rooms) and paid directly.

Golf

18 or 9-hole green fee (handicap required). For the non-golfer, use of the 6-hole academy course. Use of the practice facilities, hire of materiel and balls. Golf lessons with a fully trained instructor, 1 hour with a group of 2 to 10 people. Possibility to extend for an hour so as to play a friendly competition on the 6-hole academy course.

Guided tour of Saint-Emilion (45 minutes drive away)

Guided tour of the town of Saint-Emilion and wine tasting in a Grand Cru château: discover the town spirit, with the reminder of the founder of Saint-Emilion, the religious story and the way of life. Discover the wine story and origin, the amazing underground paths where the wine is kept at an ideal temperature.

Saint-Emilion wine school (45 minutes drive away)

Wine expert lessons or wine tasting with a wine expert for 2 hours. An amazing day out based around “wine” including a wide selection of wine tastings, lunch in a renowned gourmet restaurant and a visit of wine cellars. Contact us for further information.

Visit and tasting in a truffle farm (75 minutes drive away)

Explore the magic around truffles with our favorite truffle famer, Edouard.  In a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, discover the pleasures of truffle picking, finding and tasting them! Either on site or on the farm, search for truffles with Edouard and Titeuf his dog. Possibility of tasting some Mélano Sporum mushrooms and some famous Bergerac wines during an aperitif.

Visit the Lascaux caves, the medieval towns of Sarlat, Bergerac, visit various old Châteaux (Milands, Castelnaud, Montaigne…), Monbazillac Château, a day out shopping in Bordeaux or a leisure day out on the sands of Arcachon.

Wine tasting

Wine tasting evening directly at a property or at Château des Vigiers organised by a wine grower or a wine expert. Discover and try the various wines. Learn everything about the wine growing business while enjoying a gourmet dinner with canapés. Or why not organise your wine tasting with a wine expert during an aperitif and learn the “ins’ and outs’” of wine tasting.

Soirée Cabaret (25 minutes drive away)

In an enchanting atmosphere, discover the Bergerac cabaret’s new show « Amor Amor ». 2 hours of a musical show with dance, costumes and the traditional “French Cancan”. Lunch, goûter or dinner shows by reservation only. Possibility for the show to take place at Château des Vigiers.

Special theatre and interactive evenings

« Corsaires » afternoon and evening around a scenario on the Dordogne River. Or, at Duras Château, on the path of King Navarre you can do rallies and role games. Cooking in the Périgourdine Kitchen 

Discover an exceptional and unique experience in a professional kitchen. In a convivial and warm atmosphere, your colleagues will discover the pleasure of putting together a quality menu (starting with fresh seasonal produce they will make amuses-bouches, cocktails, the three course Gourmet menu, as well as dressing the tables and serving). This activity includes a three course Gourmet menu, aperitif and drinks under the orders of our chef and his team.

The Building Challenge

As a team, the objectif is to make a bridge out of a box full of different accessories given out at the beginning. Each box is different, the teams must « swap » their material and communicate as a team. This teambuilding activity lasts about 2 to 3 hours and can be organized all year round.

Art Festival

The art festival is an activity based on exchanging and putting forward each talent. Each team must choose an art activity (sculpture, contemporary art, painting, fashion designing and creating). The team must create a piece of art and present it to all the participants at the end.

The Défi

The aim of this activity is to make a vehicle with wheels propelled by humains 100% recyclable with the given resources. The vehicle must be able to transport a participant around a pre established course. Each team will work on the same project after having been given a work book leaving a big part for imagination and originality in the “making-off”. An outside or inside activity.

Discover golf inside

Even on a rainy day you can discover golf with this inside activity. Each team has their own clubs and will go around several different activities (putting, swing…). Use of special inside material (light balls, plastic clubs…). Ideal for all.

Games around the « Basques » forces

Team games around “Basques” forces (rope pulling, pick-up milk cans…), rugby activities (for men and for women!), handball….Lots of several easy, convivial and teambuilding games realizable on site.

Canoeing on the Dordogne (10 minutes drive away)

Fun and accessible to everyone allowing you to discover wonderul hidden places. Whether it is for a leisure day out or a challenge for a group (races, teambuilding), it is a good way for motivation and good sensations. More than 10 different routes (from April to September).

Bike rental

Discover the Périgord landscapes through an ecological way of transport using a road book (no guide). The day out can be combined with a few wine tastings in nearby Châteaux (departure from Château des Vigiers).
Also available, electric assistance bikes (for road use).

Endurance challenge on a karting circuit (20 minutes drive away) 

Challenge your team: participate in a competition (800 meters), create a teambuilding effort and lots of fun. At the end of the competition a prize-giving is organized.

Sports and challenge activities « Le Raid »

The first trail game guided by satellite in the woods and vineyards around the Château. Find objects with the GPS, photographic tales of adventures, adapted activities for each group and different so as that each member of the team participates. The sport level is adapted to each group. Lasts around 2 to 3 hours.
